WELCOME TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE
We’re a community first. Everything else comes after that.
The Waffle House isn’t being built around one raid team, one group of players, or one person deciding how everyone else should play.
We’re building a community.
Some of us will raid.
Some will PvP.
Some will level every character they can.
Some will spend their entire week fishing.
Some will live in the Auction House.
Some will show up to every guild event.
Some will mostly hang out in Discord.
All of it belongs here.
Our goal isn’t simply to become a large guild.
We’ve built communities that have reached nearly 1,000 members before, and we’d like to build something that size again—but this time, we want the community itself to be what makes the guild successful.
RAIDING
MS > OS
We absolutely want to raid.
But we don’t want raiding to become the only reason people feel valuable in the guild.
Raid days and times will be determined by the community.
We’ll vote on what days and times work best and establish two consistent raid times whenever possible, giving people different opportunities to participate.
If we eventually have enough consistent raiders to support multiple groups, we’ll work toward two raid teams running at different times.
But we’re also realistic.
A guild can have 1,000 members without having 80 people online at the same time.
People have jobs.
Families.
Different schedules.
Different interests.
And plenty of people simply don’t raid.
That’s not a problem we’re trying to fix.
That’s part of having a community.
LOOT
We’ll be using Gargul for raid loot.
Softres.it for Reservations.
Our system is designed around one basic idea:
Your time matters.
We will use two Soft Reserves per person.
You choose two items you want before the raid.
Once you’ve received your two reserved items, your reservations are finished. From there, loot is fair game unless another player has that item reserved.
Why only two?
Because with 40-player raids, unlimited or excessive Soft Reserves quickly become difficult to manage and create more problems than they solve.
Two gives everyone something to target, while keeping the system simple enough to actually run.
And we’re not building a system where the person with the best gear, highest rank, or biggest voice automatically gets first dibs on everything.
If you’ve been in a raid for three hours, we want you to feel like that time mattered.
Loot should be transparent.
Loot should be fair.
And everyone should have a legitimate chance to improve their character.
PVP
PvP will be a major part of the Waffle House.
We’re planning organized:
Battlegrounds
Arena — if available
World PvP
Guild PvP events
We’re also planning to bring people into leadership roles specifically for PvP.
That means we’re not relying on:
“Anyone doing BGs?”
every time somebody wants to play.
We’ll have people whose job is to organize groups and make PvP happen.
We’ll also schedule World PvP events so people know ahead of time when the guild is going out together.
COMMUNITY
This is where Waffle House is different.
We don’t want the guild to become:
Log in → raid → log out.
There should always be something happening.
We’ll be running events such as:
Fishing Competitions
Hide & Seek
Random Drawings
Dueling Events
Naked Races
Player-Made Quests
Community Competitions
Special Guild Events
And we’re not stopping there.
If someone comes up with a ridiculous idea that sounds fun, bring it to us.
Some of the best guild memories aren’t going to come from getting a piece of gear.
They’re going to come from the stupid stuff we did together.
We value consistency, respect, and good attitudes over ego or parse chasing.
This guild is built for people who show up, prepare, and treat others well.
Toxic behavior
